Transitional Workforce Housing

Waystone Housing Ministry plans to provide structured transitional workforce housing for women ages 18–35 experiencing housing instability.

The residential program is designed to provide safe housing combined with employment-focused support services that help residents move toward sustainable independent living.

Employment and Life Skills Support

Residents and outreach participants may receive assistance with:
• Resume development
• Interview preparation
• Workforce certifications
• GED support
• Financial literacy education
• Budgeting and savings plans
• Life-skills development
• Educational and career support

Social Enterprise Initiative

Waystone Housing Ministry plans to develop a nonprofit social enterprise that provides workforce training opportunities while supporting charitable programming.

Potential activities may include furniture resale, boutique or thrift operations, community retail events, and fundraising activities that directly support the mission.

Outreach & Stabilization Services

In addition to residential programming, Waystone Housing Ministry plans to provide outreach support services for individuals and families experiencing economic hardship or at risk of housing instability.

Outreach services may include:
• Workforce development assistance
• Budgeting and financial literacy education
• Life-skills training
• Case management
• Employment readiness support
• Community resource referrals

Some outreach programming may initially operate through community spaces, partnerships, libraries, or virtual platforms during the organization’s development phase.
