Your donation, their future

Waystone Housing Ministry addresses housing instability from two crucial angles. First, our community-based outreach program prevents homelessness before it begins by connecting individuals and families with vital resources, employment assistance, financial education, and personalized guidance. Second, our core residential program offers safe transitional workforce housing and career-focused support for up to 10 women (ages 18–35) at risk of displacement. Your support directly powers these initiatives, equipping participants with the tools for long-term housing stability and economic self-sufficiency.

Why choose Waystone?

What makes Waystone unique is our commitment to Continuity of Care and Intensive Navigation. Durant offers valuable crisis safety nets—from food assistance and emergency financial support to long-term pathways like employment opportunities. But for families in crisis, there is often a missing link: navigating these services can feel fragmented and overwhelming.

Waystone fills that gap by providing a consistent, relational anchor that guides families step-by-step from immediate crisis to lasting stability. Our housing program goes beyond providing a place to stay—it mirrors real-world experiences and helps residents build practical skills in budgeting, time management, maintaining employment, and navigating landlord-tenant relationships.

We don’t duplicate the services already available in our community. We connect them. By bringing resources together and walking alongside families throughout the process, Waystone creates a seamless path from crisis to self-sufficiency.

Beyond financial contributions

Your generosity can make an impact in more ways than one. We welcome gifts of time, skills, and resources that directly support our residents and our homes. If you have experience in construction, painting, landscaping, or other skilled trades, your expertise can help us create safe, welcoming spaces for families rebuilding their lives. We also welcome donations of furniture, household items, and other home essentials that help transform our residential home into a comfortable and supportive place to live.

Every contribution—whether it’s your time, your talents, or a tangible gift—helps create a pathway from crisis to hope, stability, and home.
