Waystone Housing Ministry is a faith-based nonprofit in Durant, Oklahoma developing transitional workforce housing for women experiencing housing instability while also providing outreach support services for individuals and families facing economic hardship.

Our Mission

Waystone Housing Ministry exists to provide transitional housing, workforce development, life-skills education, and supportive outreach services that help individuals move toward long-term housing stability and economic independence.

We believe every person deserves dignity, opportunity, and a supportive community while rebuilding their future.

What We Plan to Offer

Our planned programs include:
• Transitional workforce housing for women ages 18–35
• Outreach support services for individuals and families
• Employment readiness and workforce development
• Financial literacy and budgeting education
• Life-skills training
• Educational support and certifications
• Faith-based mentorship and encouragement
• Workforce training through a nonprofit social enterprise

Our Vision for Durant

Waystone Housing Ministry is pursuing a satellite site transitional housing approach and workforce development store in Durant, Oklahoma.

Our vision includes safe residential housing, educational and life-skills programming, workforce training opportunities, and community-centered support designed to help individuals achieve long-term independence and stability.

Faith-Based and Christ-Centered

Waystone Housing Ministry is guided by Christian values centered on compassion, restoration, dignity, accountability, and service to others.

Optional faith-based support may include mentorship, Bible study, character development, and spiritual encouragement. Participation in faith-based activities is always voluntary.

Services are provided regardless of race, religion, gender, or other protected status.

Current Phase

Waystone Housing Ministry was formed in January 2026 and is currently:
• Building community partnerships
• Developing outreach programming
• Planning fundraising efforts
• Pursuing future property acquisition and renovation funding

All residential and social enterprise activities are contingent upon successful fundraising, property acquisition, and renovation completion.
