Why "Waystone"?

“Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, ‘Thus far the Lord has helped us.’”
— 1 Samuel 7:12 (NIV)

The name “Waystone” reflects our mission and the belief that every journey toward stability and restoration includes meaningful milestones along the way.

Inspired by 1 Samuel 7:12, where Samuel established a stone of remembrance to recognize God’s faithfulness and guidance, Waystone Housing Ministry seeks to serve as a source of hope, support, and direction for individuals pursuing stability, independence, and a new beginning.
